This is something that I wrote today after the whole event

One day overheard my mothers boss, Martha, say to a man, John Yona, that the current situation he was in with renewing his insurance policy was, "absurd" or something to that point. After a moment of awkward silence she lifted the spirits of the room with, "But we are blessed to live in such a great and beautiful place as florida" In his very own odd tone and jarred manner of speaking he commented, "Everyday I wakeup, is winning the lottery". When she responded with her small-talk, "I actually played the lottery once". He simply responded with, "Thats just money".

I also think everybody can make their day better when remembering to just smile at random people. It works, you make them happy, they make somebody else happy. That itself should make you happy, if not there are many more people who are made happy from each other that started from you making the first random act of kindness. Even if your already happy, it can only help.
Just smile.
