ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    My Ride got Jacked

About two weeks ago, my 92 ex coupe got jacked. It was recovered within 12hrs with no wheels, no seats, no radiator, no intake, and no stereo. I had just put in a KOYO radiator like 2 weeks before and 17" enkei j10's about 2 months ago. I had the sparco copy seats and an aem cai along with 2 jl 12's and a jl 500.1 amp. My problem is that my insurance (safeco) only wants to pay like 3300 less the salvage cost (700?) which won't even get me a replacement stock version of my car. Do any of you have experience with insurance companies after theft? I just know Im about to get totally screwed.

Damn that sucks man. Sorry to hear about your loss. One word for the new ride though... ALARM. I know that is on my list after I start getting some more parts on. Later

You should be able to find accords pretty cheap if that was what you had. THe only problem I would see is how reliable it would be and might need work.

it would of been a good idea to have put the kill switch in before u started puttin on aftermarket parts on your ride. and if they want ur car they will take it no matter what alarm or kill switch or club u put on your car. it happened to a friend so yeah it sucks.

Dude the best advice is get a good lawyer and make sure u have all the receipts of every thing u put in to the car and try and at least get that back. and go after them for lawyer fee's as well !!!

If the timing belt was broke I'd bet it needed alot more than just a belt.

Depending on insurance company, you can refuse their first offer and request more money (that is if you have proof that your Accord is in good condition). Insurance companies are always lowballing.
