i got this cluster out of a j vin number cb7 i seached for the simple things that i know that are jdm like steering wheel clock vin ect....and came to the conclution that it was but the cluster has mph instead of kph but i also noticed that on the 55 mph its yellow my US cb7 dont have it dont know if it glows amber couse the car was jucked here are some pics






i wana now as soon as posible cuz im planing to do the led set up and a nother ? is i noticed that the bulbs have this blue color tube on them i dont know if that was their oem or if the owner put it their let me know

i don't think it's JDM, but more so manufactured in Japan, and shipped overseas for sale in the US

Nope thats not JDM , actually thats a cluster from a 90-91 usdm. 92-93 usdm cluster doesn't have that yellow 55.

JDM refers to the Japanese domestic market, meaning items manufactured intended for use in Japan.

You found that on a car that was intended to be used in the US (even though it might have been manufactured in Japan). It is a USDM cluster.

It is not amber, since all cb7s in the US came with the green ones. Only the 90/91 clusters had the 55 marker.

yeah i thought about that cuz i know that in dominican rep its the same thing kph but i thought maybe the kph coverted to mph but it would still have the aber light ..."the reason i wanted to know was cuz i am doing a led covertion on it and i just dint want to ruin it if it was a jdm" ...my shit is not jdm so i would have ended up prob giving it for a good price here cuz in the junk jard here i can find anything for our cars out of every 20 cars their like 5 jap cars

yeah i thought about that today fist i tried some bulbs that were suposed to be blue but lighted up green omfg i sead after puting the shit together then i tried some led bulbs i did but guess what they werent strong enougf then i tried amber bulbs that i had but they were so old that they looked pink instead of amber shit so tomorow im gona get some at work...

but theirs a lil proble if u notice theirs only 3 rocket bulbs and then the other 2 bulbs are xtra smaller dont know if theirs something i can do about those any ideas??????
