ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

What up. This K. Chinn. You might laugh at my title but it said no question is stupid. So I want to know the meaning of CB7. Why do they call a 90-93 accord a CB7?

sweet bro, s.florida right here! and yes CB7 is a chassis code just like EK's, or DC2 and what not, plus you might have seen this once at least but most people generally rock those JDM plates, consisting of their rides chassis code

Is there a way to tell the color code from the VIN?

No. On the new generation catalogs, we are finally able to decode some interior colors on the newer models with the VIN. I have been told that they are working on getting the exterior colors in the next year. They are attempting to connect our catalogs with Hondas database in Japan.

Maybe there should be a sticky thread on this subject. I had the same question when I joined the site.

CB7 actually is a acronym for "Cool boyz 7" a early 1990's / late 1980's boy band from holland that had little success in Europe. They were almost unheard of in the US except for a elite group of fans that called themselves the Coolbeez (not to be mistaken with the cheese). One of these "Coolbeez" happened to be a pilot for Japan air. During a flight in the winter of 1989, Soichiro Honda, was flying from Disney world. As they passed over the Sierra mountains there was severe turbulence. Before the turbulence the pilot had been listening to "Cool boyz 7" aka "CB7" on his sony tape deck with speaker. When the turbulence hit the tape deck fell to the floor of the beoing 747 with a clatter. "Cool Boyz 7" began blasting from the tape deck, the pilot could not reach the tape deck to shut it off. At this point the turbulence was growing more severe so he decided to alert the passengers that everything was ok, he knew full well that everyone was going to here "CB7's" hit "You make my 2 liter feel seksy". What he didnt know was the historic event that was going to occur from his reckless placement of the tapedeck. Soichiro Honda heard something, he heard something so amazing, so moving that he wanted to commemorate it, but how? There was the new inspire that was about to be released. "AH YES" he shouted, he would give the new inspire the VIN code of "CB7".
