Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Dx or Lx

    i was lookin at my title the other day, i see that it says i have a LX,
    but when i bought hte car it had all the OE honda emblems. and at the time it said Dx on my car..

    SO how do i know which 1 i have,
    i know i dont have a EX...

    i have the USDM cb7. with power everything and i have tweeted pods on the door already. mayb this can help, and its 5speed at the time it was the f22a1 motor.

          DX = manual windows and locks, rear drum brakes, F22A1
          LX = power windows and locks, rear drum brakes, F22A1
          EX = power windows and locks, sunroof, ABS, rear disc brakes, dual tip exhaust, alloy wheels, F22A4/6 (depending on year)
          SE = power windows and locks, sunroof, ABS, rear disc brakes, automatic only, leather interior, dual-tip exhaust, alloy wheels. F22A6 only.
          10th Anniversary Edition = LX with rear disc brakes, ABS, and body-colored mouldings. Automatic only.


          In Canada: their LX = our DX. Their EX = our LX. Their EX-R = our EX. I believe their SE is the same as ours. I don't know if they got the 10th AE (that's not really anything that great anyway)

          In other countries, there are many different trims...

            thanks, my friend has a 91 EX wagon and he doesnt have rear disc's i think its 92-93 with disc breaks only

                nah i think it is aftermarket. acually it is... with over 300k on the clock gawd knows how much stuff is aftermarket....

                          i dont think we were ever offered the 10th anniversary edition. i always look at all the cb7's i see and ive never seen one (or at least dont think i have). it doesnt really matter though cuz like deev said, its not that great anyway!

                            lol...i think its funny cause i got all the info on my car and shit and its a LX with power everything with ABS.......which is crazy cause everybody told me maybe the person who had my car before me had it installed but it doesn't say anything about an after market install of a ABS...i got the papers from this shop that installed my axles and was wondering why in the hell the axles without ABS was not working after printing all the info of my car features its does says ABS i told them with ABS before they started and they look at me as if i had monkeys swinging on my face...maybe i have 1 out of a million cars that they just felt like putting abs...i don't know 0oh well...lets just say i got an LX without ABS so we don't have to confuse people....lol

                              Does it have the ABS stuff under the hood? That's odd!
