Drag Racing Accident Pray For Evan

Evan, a fellow racer and friend, was drag racing in his 98 accord when he collided with opponet, fliped 9 times and was ejected throught the sunroof.
He was a senior at gaffney high and had a promising future. He was airlifted to spartanburg regional and died twice on the way there. If Evan lives, he will have a speech impediment for the rest of his life and, sadly, will never be able to walk agin. Evan was a good driver and racer, this shows us it happens to the best of us, none of us are invincible. Odly, the report says that if evan was wearing his seatbelt, he would without a doubt not be alive.

Please pray for this boy, no matter what religon.

what you say is true, some are unaware of the possible outcome, evan just thought hed race his friend at a stoplight on the way home from school.

indeed sir. i often get the urge to race, but after thinking of the outcome i just don't, things like these make me think twice, three, even four times, i usually just drive like a grandma now. remember if your going to race please take it to the track

i mean when you race down a public street its MUCH more of a risk since you dont know who or whats gonna pop out from the sides i never raced down a street always behind facturys where theres no oncoming traffic enough of that this is tragic and my i do hope he gets well

Damn bro im sorry to hear about your friend....racing is a risky situation. I crashed my cb racing. It wasnt as serious as buddies though again im so sorry he will be in my prays..

He was racing another boy i know, named shane phillips, um, i think shane had a dropped s-10 eXtreme. when evan crashed, shane fled the scene. Right now shane is in jail.

a wreck like this can easily happen at the track as well as on the street the important thing is to insure that the only people at risk are the ones doing the racing. I am sorry for your friend but at the same time glad that he didnt kill anyone or injure anyone other than himself.

I know, what if a van full of kids was coming down the road and hit them? Hes only 17 and prob has no understanding of the word "Responsibility" Although, shamefully i admit ill do some crazy shit in a car. Thats only because i dont value my life and dont really care. But when theres the saftey of other people to consider, i back off.
