Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    the feeling of quality

    Well i broke down and went to the tool guy at work today, bought my first snap on rachet. 1/4 in. the gearing is so fine on it it makes me wonder why I didnt get one a long time ago. The quality of the rachet is so phenomenol. I am mezmorized. I break my craftsman ones all the time and have to go out of my way to return them and if i ever break this one the tool guy is right there to rebuild it or replace it. I dont even want to use it it is so beautiful. But at the same time I cant wait to tear into something with it. Im not saying snap on everything but some things like their rachets there is no equivalent. So tell me what was the first high quality tool you ever bought or invested in? Just curious.

    the first real quality piece i invested was a mac tools 1/2 inch impact. 625 ft lbs of torque,

    man i love that gun. i breaks any bolt loose so easy, saves me a lot of time. the price was not bad either, i know the mac tool guy because he is my friends dad and i get discounts

      An old neighbor of mine let me use his snap-on ratchet when my NEW craftsman one was defective... The thing was beat to hell, and still worked wonderfully. He said he'd been using that particular ratchet for like 20 years! I want some snap-on tools... Every time I see a truck parked somewhere, I always wonder how I could get away with just hopping in and driving away!
