Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Ok it off the accord topic, but I am looking into a car and was posting to see what everybody thinks it worth. It is a 1997 Honda Civic EX- has 91,000 on body and 33,000 on motor-swapped a JDM Integra Type-R motor. Car is in excellent condition. Has Rota 16 in. wheels, skunk2 coilovers, JDM type R front lip, J's racing carbon intake, cat delete, Thermal cat-back exaust. Like I said it is in great condition, no rust or dents. What would you think it is worth? KBB is 6,000. Just for reference. Thanks in advance

    Anybody have any clue to what it might be worth? He wants to trade his car plus cash for my other car. Im just trying to get an idea of what his is worth

      Go to kbb and it will have a few things in there like rim sound body and paint, after that find out (i.e. ball park) how much the other parts cost like the swap, then take 30 to 50 percent off the stuff that will give you a decent idea of how much, also how desperate is he to sell, the more desperate the lower i will go.

        A civic like that will go for 3-4k around here w/o the swap

          Honestly, the fact that it's heavily modified would be a reason for me to want to pay less for it. The Type R swap is expensive, and the other parts you listed are good quality as well... but honestly, that car is worth no more than the $6000 kbb value, if that. It's someone else's project. However, if you would buy that car and do all those mods yourself, $9000 would probably be a bargain (if you take into account the cost of a stock car, and all the parts). Still, unless you know this guy (and this car) VERY well, I wouldn't recommend trusting the quality of his custom work.

            9000 sounded about like what I figured it would be around. He is wanting like 10,500 for it. I though it was a little high. Everything looks sound and trustable. The deal Im looking inot is his car plus cash for my other car which is a 2002 GTI 337 edition. My car only has 38000 miles on it and it pretty heavily modded. Powerwise my car is dyno'd at 220 whp and 24o wtq. He wants to give me his car plus 6,000. How good of an offer you think that is? (My car is about 12,500 in kbb) Thanks
