Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I don't think it will happen, I'm all for improving upon the obd system, but that tracking etc is malarky

        It will never make it... Why you ask? Canada. Thats the only reason. Because us canadians hate big brother... we want to live ourselves, not with someone toying along behind us smelling our ass end... Keep OBD3 where it belongs... in the books.

          Our teacheres told us it would be coming in effect around 2009-2010 but it violates some rules of privacy and crap. IMO its worthless but what can you do with those people that love nature.

            It's more than just the people that love nature. I mean it's almost straight out of "1984" with the whole Big Brother crap. Unless drastically changed, it can't go into production. No auto manufacturer will want that on their car because no consumer will buy it.

            What would the limits be on speeding? There is no grey area because it's not human. If I'm driving over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house, and all of a sudden the speed limit changed from 35 to 25, but the sign is hidden, I'm reported to the federal government as going ten over. Then I get pulled over some day in the near future with a nice speeding ticket for that incident that I didn't even know existed. But if a police officer pulled me over, I could nicely explain to him how I didn't see the sign and I'm new...and he'll probably cut me a break. Unless you can take these things to court some how
