Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Friggin corporations!

    So im losing my job. CompUSA is going under. doors close beginning of january. and they are screwing all the full timers who have been there a while. They arent paying for the vacation time or sick time i accrued, no severance, they arent giving all the money i have in my 401k and the worst, no cobra which i need because i have alot of medical problems. but its really funny cuz almost everyone else who works in my store as well as myself, feel we should be compensated somehow. so we are sneaking stuff out the back. But right now most little stuff and cameras, computers, hard drives and disc drives are10% off. everything else is 20%. but the day the discounts change ill try to update this thread.

    Thats blows that your losing your job. I'd prolly do the same thing as you are, but i wouldn't broadcast that your stealing on the net man.

        I used to work for the San Fransisco Music Box Company... They went under (now they only appear for the holidays), and the entire staff walked out with a nice little severance package


        Sucks CompUSA is going under. I always liked them! I just bought a defective laptop from them the other day (I guess that explains why they couldn't order another one for me!). It sucks that I just went out Best Buy and bought another one... I could've gotten MUCH more computer for the money!


        If you happen to 'find' some DDR2 PC2-5300 ram (laptop 1 or 2 gb), a firewire card, or an external USB 2.0 hub... hook me up! (I have no love for CompUSA... thanks to their crappy busted laptop, I spent $150 more on the one I ended up getting!)
