read the sticky that's in that section. it's only to protect you and the person selling that's why theres a password that's hard to crack.. trust me go read it and read it again if you don't understand.


i think the punishment for giving out the password is death and having your car repo'ed. i kid. but there is a punish for members who give it out to other people and it's still pretty intense.

Copying the whole post is fine... until the password changes and someone tries to use an old password that they find by searching. The point is for the warning to be read, so it doesn't matter WHERE it is read. Still, if we have copies of old warnings floating around, and the passwords in them don't work, I'll have to put up with PMs from people who can't read... I get enough of that already.

I didn't see the original post, so I won't issue any bans. However, the password has been changed from the one that I'm guessing was given out...




For giving out the password, a 7 day ban is the minimum. 30 days has been known to happen, and a permanent ban or deletion may happen as well. Revealing the password is not just a disrespectful act to the staff of this forum, but it is putting the members at risk. The sticky thread is there to serve as a warning to new members that it is NOT safe to buy from unknown people in this site, and that it is a major risk. With the sticky in place, I still hear about at least a scam a month... sometimes one a week... down from before the sticky, but still not good. The warning is there, and the password exists so people will read the warning.
