ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

    Greddy DT exhaust???

So I was looking to hopefully buy a greddy axle-back muffler for a my cb7. The thing is that greddy discontinued that particular style; therefore, they are selling it for under $150s. And they are obviously short handed on the availability and they don't exactly have that particular style made for the 90-93 accords. Only for the cd5. The Greddy DT axle-back exhaust is suppose to bolt right onto the stock oem mid-pipe. The thing is does anyone know if the axleback from a 94-95, 6, 7 will fit onto the the mid-pipes of the cb7s? here is a link click here

Here's a glance of the Greddy axle-back DT exhaust:

Please let me know what you guys think as far as appearance, performance (if any past experience), and quality or such. Thank you!

they are two different diameters to block of one while daily driving or open the large one up for the track

Ahh, I went to the web site to check it out, was wondering how you would "block" one side. I was figuring a potato wedged into it.. but they figured something better out for it.

They are discontinuing that series already? They just came out with the DT series. But as someone mentioned one diameter is for cruising and the other is for WOT driving. I would think they would use a vac source but guess not. What system were you looking at before. I dont see why it wouldnt fit. If all else fails theres always a welder.

Even with the tuneability, it still looks pretty retarded. They should have just made it dual tip with a dual mode blockout plate.

Well, before I was actually looking into buying either the SP2 or the WS2 cat back system. But because I found the DT, and for a good price, I might just settle on this one. only $140 shipped!

And yes of course, if anything should fail, a welder can fix it except I don't have one...lol...That's Y I really want to avoid having to do extreme modification on it. But if I can find a SP2 or WS2 for under 450 shipped, I might consider that some day.

Oh, I forgot to mention. If I do buy this Dt axle-back, it will be going onto my ebay catback midpipe. I'm currently using an ebay catback exhaust w/ 4" tip and silencer cause I am getting sick and tried of the loudness. Besides, the engine feels way stronger too.

Before I proceed to order my new Greddy DT exhaust, Is there anyone who has a good reason to object? Otherwise, say so...Or I'm going to purchase it and take a chance with the fitments and modifications.
