ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    cooling/radiator fans

So, once again, another infamous question!! So, none of my fans work. They just kinda....quit. Been hearin' about checkin' the relay fuse in the fusebox under the hood. Can't really tell if it's bad or not, not sure how...but I have power windows, and I swapped the power window relay, and the cooling fan relay, and it works my windows....so overall, the relay fuse is still good. Any other reasons these fan(s) aren't working? I have my radiator fan hooked to a toggle right now, both fans still run...but they won't automatically come on when they're plugged up the right way.

Bring it back the way it used to be. Why toggle switch the fan anyway?

Both the fans work. The motors aren't bad on them, but some kinda sensor must be bad, cause they won't turn on when they're plugged into the engine harness the way they should be.

How exactly did you do that man? Cause I'm waitin' for my next check, so I can buy a new radiator and both fans, but that's next week, and it keeps roastin' this toggle switch.

behind your distributor there is a green connector unplug it then jump the wire
when you turn the key to the on position it will turn both fans on......also when you get your new fans you might as well buy a thermostat too

you check the fan timer under the dash? Or the thermo switch on the thermostat housing?

Yea, whether the fans are running or not, the car still gets kinda warm, but it doesn't actually overheat. It'll get up to about 6/8 - 7/8 up there, then eventually cool itself down. Like, the thermostat ain't workin' right, but it's brand new. The mechanic put a new one in the engine when he put it in the car. New waterpump also.
