ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    'nother cam question ;]

So, went to the Deltacam site, and it doesn't seem like you can buy a cam from the actual site. Looks more so, you having to ship your cam to them, and they'll regrind it. How do these people buy the actual Delta camshafts? Is there another site? I was browsin' through threads, and seen Deev recommending the 260 for an automatic, and the 272 for a 5 speed. I've gotta automatic, so my post in the trad. section was useless. I'm just tryna figure out where these members are gettin' them at.

Yea, but does everyone send theres in for a re-grind, or can you actually buy the cam already made.

        Send it in to them.

Why do you keep making threads about this. Post it in your original thread about the cams.

Pretty sure you have to get a regrind. ChIoVnIdCa answered you on the process. You could always call Delta for more information, most people have found that they are extremely helpful people.

Seriously, just call them. They would be happy to answer any of your questions. And they don't technicaly sell at cam for our cars. They just regrind stock ones. It took them about a week to do mine.

Sorry about all the threads, but I've been browsin' and noticed a few kids that've gotten there's re-grinded, and have a problem or to, suchas havin' to adjust valves, springs, etc. But sendin' in to get a 260 done, shouldn't call for adjustment? I've done a buncha stuff to the car, but it's only been semi-worked stuff. When it comes to adjustin' valves, springs, anything that I could possibly mess up, kinda scares me. New engine, and I don't wanna have to pay another 1500 cause of a cam mistake.
