ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    map sensor code

i've got a 93' EX coupe w/ usdm h22 and i hooked up an Apexi' S-AFC II about a week ago. well, after i did intial setup and started the engine i threw a map sensor code (#3). i posted a thread to see if anyone knew what i did wrong. anyways, i didn't get any really helpful responses, so today i removed it. I cranked it up and it was still showing code #3. so i changed the map sensor for a 93' prelude map sensor i had leftover from my h22 swap. i had to swap connectors also because the prelude sensor had a round connector instead of the accord's retangular connector. i hooked up the vacuum line and cranked the car and have still got that same code. i know #3 and #5 are both map sensor codes but don't know exactly what problem with the map sensor i have. i really don't know what's going on, and have ran out of ideas. please help me.

    #2
bump. i know someone knows what the trouble codes mean in a little more detail than the vague description the manuals give me.

yeah, i pulled the vacuum line out of one and plugged it into the other one. i know what the map sensor does but don't understand the difference in the 2 map sensor codes (3 & 5)? i'm figuring one code is for the vacuum line and one is for the electrical signal but don't which is which. i just want to know in more detail what problem the map sensor has when trouble code #3 is shown.
