ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    H23 plenum question.

I have f22a6 and I want the extra hp so I'm thinking of swapping my intake plenum for the h23. I just have a few questions. 1) where is the best place to get one from? 2) how hard is it to swap it? I've read the diy but I got confused by re-routing all the hoses. Anyone else had any problems with this? 3) can you notice the difference? Sound louder? Go faster?

its definitely louder, esp if you get a prelude intake along w/ it. And highway passing power is a little bit better than the A6 plenum.

It's not difficult. The hardest part is working in a cramped space.

Get one from ebay, the junkyard, or the classifieds on here. The junkyard is probably best, if you can find one. Anyone else will know that it's an upgrade and the price will reflect that.

everyone always has trouble with the vacuum lines. Do you know what car it comes from and around how much $ I'm looking to spend?

You can find them on 92-96 Prelude SIs. Note that is is SI, not SIVTEC, although I'm pretty sure the one off of an H22A would work as well. The plenum I have is stamped P13, and it came off of a H23 Prelude in a junkyard.

do it, it is a worthwhile mod since the f22 TB's pretty much resticts at 6k.

It won't increase your red line, but it will give you power all the way there, instead of petering out around 6200-6300.

If you are topping out at 5500, then you probably need some other work done, probably just a tune up.

Yeah, there is nothing in the car's design that will make the gas pedal shake at 5500. That suggests that something is not right with your car.
