Hellow! I m new in this site, I just bougth a 93 honda accord ex coupe model with automatic transmition. Now I have the same issue that the guy posted here. When I m stopped the car vibrates, and it feels more when I m in reverse. Is there something I can do to fix this? Also it is a little bit hard to start it on the mornings. I just checked the sparkplugs and they are covered with oil. I took one out and they are new. Is this expensive to change? what brand of spark plugs wires is the best?. This is my first car, and also has 193000 miles on it but still runs great. Thanks for the feed back

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Bad motor mount, possibly? And with the oil in the plugs, that's screaming for your tube seals to be replaced. If you wanna know what it is, or even how to do it yourself, go here.

Scroll down a bit, and it has pictures, step by step of what to do. I had a grand am that only had vibration idling, and when it's in reverse, and it was a bad motor mount.98' Mustang 3V Swap

thanks guys. I'll try to fix it myself. Another question, when I start the engine it make a sound like if needs a valves adjustment. I don't know if in these kind of cars is posible to do so. One mechanic told me they are hidraulic and have to replace the whole thing. My back glass is also poping up every time I shut the door, Should I use silicon to stick it? Or take it to the glass repair shop. Thanks!Originally posted by Gotz Cb7Bad motor mount, possibly? And with the oil in the plugs, that's screaming for your tube seals to be replaced. Yes.Originally posted by HelmitoSo, they can be adjusted?
I had exactly the same symptoms as you when I bought my CB.
I replaced front (it was shot) left and right mounts, did ignition tune up and adjusted valve lash. Now 95% of vibration is gone.
A tiny amount left, so small I don't even notice it anymore.
I also replaced the timing belt only because it was unknown when it was done before I got it. It was in good condition so I don't think it made a difference.Last edited by Old School; 05-13-2008, 03:09 PM.Take that freek show to the park, maybe the squirrels will care.

How much did you pay or should I pay for a timing belt change, and for the water pump
