ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    F22b help

Ok so I am looking at a local guy selling a full f22b swap. He includes a 5spd tranny and p51 ecu. I am keeping my 4spd auto so I need to know what ecu I need. Please help.

Do you mean a JDM DOHC F22B, USDM SOHC VTEC F22B1, or USDM SOHC F22B2?

    The DOHC F22B uses a P39 ECU, the SOHC VTEC F22B1 uses a P0A (it's a zero), and the SOHC F22B2 uses a P0B.

So, either way you go I'm thinking you are going to end up with the wrong ECU if you take the P51. Does that answer your question?

Its a jdm f22b, and the ad says p51 ecu. Which ecu do I need to run my auto tranny.

Like I said, you need a P39. That is the ECU for the dual cam P39. I just finished putting one in a 94 Accord.

Where is a good place to get a p39? How do you like that motor? What mods have you done?

Ebay, engine importers, stuff like that are good places to look. You can also use a P14, which is for a USDM Prelude SI (had a H23A for an engine), but you would have to wire in a knock sensor. The P39 can be hard to find.

haven't done anything to the motor, and it pulls quite nicely. Definitely not an H22A, though.

I would really like a h22 but this swap is local and like half the price. I can turn and sell the ecu and tranny. Then take the money I saved and use it for a power adder.

So to add the knock sensor do I just need to pin the ecu and run the wire or what?

Hi, I'm also trying to figure out how to wire up the knock sensor and so far I'm having no luck, could you let me know if you happen to figure out how to do it? thanks
