Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

stupid power windows

    stupid power windows

    aight so...first of all the only window that actually works right in my cb7 is the passenger side rear window and the sunroof if you count that as a window. the rear driver's side window rolls down ok but when i go to roll it back up it screeches horribly...it sounds like someone's keying my car. the passenger side front window rolls down really slow and i can't figure out what it is...(now for the real problem)...the driver side front window rolls down perfectly...it's rolling it up that gives me the problems. when i go to roll it up it goes like an inch then i hear a 'click'...i keep rolling it up and some how it has popped out of track on the front end of the window...i know it wasn't the 'click' because i've taken the door panel off b4 and watched it...also i have recently put a new regulator and motor in it. that improved it a little bit but it sill wont work right...and when i do get it back in track i keep rolling it back up and when it get's to the top there is a gap that is about an inch...it's really starting to piss me off any body know what's going on??

      Nope bud Im in the same boat you are but only one of my windows do it so if i find anything that works ill let you know im gonna play with it tonight and see what I can come up with good luck

            degreaser wash it off well then add a lubercant

                    my driver side does the same thing I have to help it up and then when it gets close to the top stick my hand outside and push in and roll it up the rest of the way. Let me know if the degreaser works. I think mine is just somthing with the track cause its wobly. PEACE

                      so do i clean the regulator or the track that the edges of the window touch??

                        yes clean all of it then spray the lubercant on the rubber only!! keeps it for getting stuck will move freely

                          do i have to get honda lube or can i just get some from advance auto or auto zone??
