ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Please look at the picture / link.

Is this the Air Intake Temperature Sensor? Or what is it?

I dont think i have the wiring on my stock f22a harness.

    Thanks!

                Ok thanks for answer.

What will happen if i dont use it?

The f22a harness dont have any connector to this sensor...

Or is there a similar sensor on the engine?

it probably will pull a little timing and add a little fuel to prevent detonation. if your f22 harness doesn't have one then just get a ecu schematic and pinout then just run the wires directly to the ecu. it's only 2 wires.

yeah should do that, but what happends if i dont use it?

Do you know where to find a pinout diagram for the other pins than VTEC?

                      measures what?? hahaha

                      it's for the iab's.
so they open and closes. the vaccume is suposed to be connect to that balck box on the bottom of the picture.

one wire goes to ecu. the other to switched inigtion.

it's just a little plastic probe that's held on with 2 bolts. i have one for a f22a6 for sale on carolinahondas.com right now. as for the vacuum line, it hooks to a diaphram attached to a lever that opens and closes the secondary intake. the wiring i'm not sure about the wires. one goes to the ecu and i don't know where the other goes or which is which. i've never had to wire one before.

the wires tell the valve when to open. yes there on a6 and h23 also.

its right in the swap stickies.

ok, so these 2 wires in the picture has to be wired directly to ECU then?

the sensor the arrow is pointing to isn't IAB. i'm looking at a service manual right now. that a intake air temp sensor. i'm not doubt it has something to do with the secondary intake opening, but it doesn't dictate alone. the ecu does that. the secondary intake opens based on intake temp, throttle position, manifold pressure, etc.. the sensors send signals, the ecu reads them and decides whether to open or not.
