ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Leaking Oil...

Hey guys, I got a 92 accord lx 4door 5 speed. Lately the car has been leaking minute amounts of oil in my parking spot. I put her up and looked, and proceeded to change the oil pan gasket. The oil is still leaking , but the oil pan is clean. The valve cover gasket is good, the output shaft seals are still good. Can anyone shed some light on my predicament? I will go get an engine shampoo done within the week, but can anyone tell me where old hondas tend to leak from ? Any insight would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

Distributor O-Ring. You need to find out what section of the engine bay first that the oil is coming from like Driver Side Rear or Front or passenger side rear or front.

You can also check your "oil sending unit". It the sensor above the oil filter..,

Same, but I think the oil coolers were only on the 93 ex's? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Follow the oil... oil only travels down and back ( unless you speed in reverse). So look furthest up and furthest forward and you should find it.

engine oil cooler, not tranny cooler. s sandwiched between oil filter and block. not sure you have one though, i have a 92 ex. think only ex 's had them. also the oil sending unit.dizzy=distributor

Well if you've got the Hayne's repair manual, it'll probably tell you the same things we're gonna tell you.. It should have a troubleshooting section with that in it..

Thanks guys, Ive been getting second opinions from every mechanic I hang around. Ive heard camshaft seal, rear main seal, front crank seal, too much stuff anyways. It is time for a TB+Wp combo so I think ima go ahead and do that in two weeks time. As far as short term plans go, friday = ,engine shampoo and its my day off work so drinking time
