its a roll bar. the extra weight of it is pretty much cancled out by how much is helps the handling of the car.

oh ok i think i get u...so like when u turning it puts weight to the direction ur going and with that it keeps it steady so it cancels it out?

gonna add a harness bar to it to hold the 5 point as well. thats why you'll need to eliminate more to compensate for the roll cage.

when the vehicle goes around a turn, the body flexes especially unibodies. this rollcage espcially a full cage will hold everything in unison.

i had nothing in the car cept for the top half of the interior + dash of course. no tire or jack or n e thing and tank was well below half. stock rims and f22a6 pulled into the truck weigh station and got a ticket for 2750 give or take 10lbs. 4dr Ex 93'

i got so much work crap in my cb7 i dont have room to put a front pass in it. but with 500 pounds of tools and wood and all kinds of carpenrty shit i still run my streets.

i think i need a clean out my cb and then see what kind of diff it will make
