ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

you dont NEED a camber kit. some people will reccomend it i dont.

i was lowered about 3.5 inches with my old cb7, i got a camber kit, and it made no difference whatsoever in my tire wear. i do reccomend you going to get an alignment and setting the toe to zero.

my current accord is lowered 2.5 inches with -2 degrees of camber all around, and 0 degrees toe. and i'm on maybe 10,000 miles now on 215-45-17 tires with NO abnormal wear whatsoever.

you dont need a camber kit. make sure you get a print out for your alignemnt, or do it yourself.

Prokits or Sportlines? Anyway, I doubt it. But check your tread wear in about 2-3 months.

From a safety perspective it's highly recommended though. When I lowered two inches, my camber was -5 in the front and -3 in the rear. It was downright dangerous to drive, especially in the rain. It depends, as everyone else is saying, but I would recommend it from personal experience.

Alignments is what I do for a living now and ive never seen a cb7 (let alone any honda) with negative 5 degrees , thats allot I think your case was very unique and there was definately something more going on with your vehicle. At most I see 2.5 degrees neg. in the front and about 2.5 in the rear.

In Need of an engine, just a basic f22a...pm me if you have one willing to part with.

Yeah, the drop of both of those is pretty mild. Camber wear, as it turns out, is USUALLY the effect of toe + camber wear. The toe scrubs off the tread and the camber makes the toe scrub off only the inner tread.

As long as the camber isn't too bad, set toe and let it go.
