ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Apexi WS2 or Greddy Evo 2?

I'm deciding to get an Exhaust I have narrowed it down to the WS2 or EVO2. but can't come with a final pick. Can you guy help give me some insight and personal opinions on the two Exhaust. Which of the two is quieter so on. Thanks in advance.

If you want the quieter one, then the WS2 is the way to go. I have it and love it!

All straight-through exhausts will sound the same. The reason why the WS2 is quiet is because it's chambered like the stock muffler. Just not as much.

          definitly not...

i have one and absolutly love it... it is a bit loud but the actual sound that it produces is so nice that i don't mind. sounds especially nice when you go through tunnels, under bridges or downtown... when you let off the gas it doesn't make any sound inside the car, but if your outside it does make a bit but its a nice tone as well... im running mine with a test pipe so it might even be louder that if you were to run it with your cat.

if you really want i'll get a sound clip for you, let me know...

(but if you want something quite, evo2 is not the way to go)

plus it looks good because its got a offset tip so most of the body is tucked in, so it looks clean! (sig pic below)

yeah the apexi ws2 is quieter than the greddy evo 2. I had one and mine kinda sounded raspy. I've got a magnaflow now.

i love my evo2, loud, no rasp, huge tip.

the RSR is def. one of the better setups. those sing pretty well.

ive got a silver line muffler. dc headers, glass pack, and 2.25 pipes. mines loud only when you get on it. i love it. the glass pack did wonders to quite it.

                        I'd get the WS2.
Though, these mufflers are quite opposites?
If you're looking for quiet... look for the WS2 or RS*R's.
If you don't mind the sound, the Evo2 or Apexi exhausts would be good.

hey, well i didn't really have time to make one but i did this between running around... its just me driving (a bit harder than usually just so you can hear it, i also rolled down the back window trying to get more sound through but the wind had a neg. affect on the video)... hope its good enough to give you an idea.

also the cars a SE therefore its auto so if your cars manual the revs wouldn't drop off so badly... and it'd sound better and im also running a test pipe and intake.

i wish i took one of just the exhaust reving... maybe later

                              enjoy
