ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    need help finding problem

it was another boring day so i decided to take a ride. my car was performing well until bam the engine light came on. it didn do anything up front until i notice while going about 40 my rpms dropped below 2000 and it wouldn't get higher. the only way i would get any speed going was to mash the throttle. i have no clue was up. im just thinkin i should save for the H22 instead of putting any money in it at this point.

Check all your vacume lines and vacume devices...My car did that, when I first swapped in my F22a6. I unhooked the line going to the FICV and left it unplugged and that fixed my prioblem....

    That was weird...

Yes its your axles that make a clicking sound when you turn...I got mine from o'reillys...I forgot how much but it has a core charge so you get most of your money back..Then theres a lifetime warranty on them so you don't have to buy them again.....Just don't tell them your car is modified or slamed..
Only give advice when I know or have done it and it worked

                1) if the check engine light comes on, it is giving you an error code. Read the "sticky" thread at the top of this section for instructions on how to read it. That will tell you what your problem is better than a bunch of people on the internet going on your vague description.

                2) Cambers? Camber is simply a measure of angle. It is not a part on your car. As zero said, it is your CV joints wearing out. Replace your axles. Soon. Once they start clicking, they are preparing to fail. You don't want that to happen.

                3) please make your thread titles descriptive. We ALL have problems... specify what your problem is in the title, so people that know something about it will open it and help you. And, more importantly, so it will be a useful addition to this database. This site is intended to be a searchable database of information... not your personal helpdesk.
