ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

during normal operation of your a/c system, moisture can accumulate in the duct work and collect on the evaporator core surface. In most circumstances, this moisture is supposed to drain out causing no problems. However, air that enters the passenger compartment of your cb7 contains microscopic contaminants and bacteria that can stick to the moisture on your evap. case.

If it's humid in your area in the summer time, or if you constantly have the recirc button on, this becomes an ideal environment for mold, bacteria, and odor causing mildew to grow. If this is the case, odor will emit out of your duct work when the a/c is first turned on.

You can pick up cans of treatment at your local parts store that come with a really long straw. To use this can its like a WD40 gone wild can. You stick the abnormally long straw into the nozzle and stick it as far down into your vent as possible coming in close contact with your evaporator core. It sprays out like a foam in a antimicrobial deodorizer and will ultimately fix your problem. Treatments like this claim to last for up to three years.

I learned about this last week UNOH FTMFW

yeah if you can remove you glove box and get access to your evaporator, then there might be leaves and other stuff stuck in there that you need to clean out.

I agree with the others. It sounds like your evaporator. I had a similiar problem in a truck once. It was clogged or just broken all together and it would make a maggot hurl it smelled so bad. Luckily the smell didn't absorb into my headliner or anything.

That or you or the previous owner has/had buddies with a bad sense of humor... From the personal experiences of others, I do NOT recommend any of the following being allowed into the AC/Ventilation system:

Deer Urine (stinks, does NOT go away)
                      Mace (burns)
Confetti (annoying and one hell of a mess to clean up)
