So, I've been thinking on this for about..3 weeks. I purchased a cold-air intake, and I lost power after installing it. I hear all this junk about, how they help gas mileage, blah blah. That's the main reason I got it. Plus the like...extra 1-2 horsepower from the short-ram. But, on my post awhile back, of the cold-air disaster, I heard a lotta stuff. Resetin' the ECU, unplug this fuse, that fuse, do this, do that. hrm. I also came across someone tellin' me...that my air/fuel mixture wasn't correct. Since the car's gettin' colder air into the intake, I'm not gettin' enough fuel to even that out. Holddddddd uppppppppp a second. Isn't this supposed to LESSEN the gas subject. After reading that.....that the car's not getting enough fuel for the air/fuel mixture. hrm. I would like to get some serious answers towards this, cause it's really bothering me. I have a cold-air intake, that I can't use, cause 1....it's not giving me more power, it's giving me less. 2...I want better gas mileage, not worse. 3....Iuno what 3 is yet, but if I got a few peoples opinions on this, it would be awesomeeeeee.

It really looks pretty under the hood. I'll try it again, and see if I can get further into detail. I've hooked it up, just like I have the short-ram hooked up. I took the cold-air off at a gas station on my way to Pa, cause the restriction was pissing me off, and I didn't reset anything after putting the short-ram back on (it was in my trunk), and I noticed a HELL of a different of power gotten back. My car does well with the short-ram, but damn....once the engine gets warm, and the sun beating off the hood......once it starts sucking in that hot air, my take off, and what not....is horrible. I just wanted some cold, fresh-air into the darn thing.
