ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Battery Relocation then Bad ABS??

i relocated a red top optima to the trunk and i have a 4 AWG positive to the distribution block and the 2 AWG ground all the way in the engine compartment. from the DB i have a 0 gauge to the starter, a 4 gauge to the fuse box and from there an 8 gauge to the abs box. It starts ok, but when i press on the brake pedal, my rpms go all the way to 0 and stay there until i let go, the abs light blinks on then off and my stereo also turns off and only comes back on when i let go of the brake. I've tried to use the old battery and put it back in the front but i get the same thing.. Any ideas??

i forgot to mention. i disconnected the wire to the abs box and i still got the same problem except that the abs light stays on and when i press the brake, the lights go dim on the cluster and everything else i mentioned.

i replaced the ground from the engine to the motor mount because the first time i started it, it smoked. any other grounds that i should try if that's not the one?

i got it... it was that one. i replaced it with a 2 gauge from where i have a heatshield for the header to the driver fender. i was getting quite upset because that was only suppose to be a 1hr to 2hr mod and i haven't driven the car for a week. thanks a lot hondaman. i might post some pictures up tommorow.. it looks kinda sloppy right now but it's working. thanks again!
