ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

get a complete overhaul of your a4 to be on the safe side, but boosting a auto will toast the stock tranny in months if beat on. beef up a h22 or h23 tranny an you should be fine for a while

Keep in mind straightedge's results are NOT common, his car is NOT street driven (and I believe that number is on race gas), and it was tuned exceptionally well. Honestly, I think even HE was surprised at the results to a point!

But you CAN boost a fairly high mileage F22A, as long as it's healthy. Accord R33's motor was over 200k, I think. Again, he knew what he was doing, and proceeded very carefully.

The H22 and H23 transmissions are not really any stronger than the F22 transmissions. I don't know why people always assume this. Beef up ANY transmission and you should be in good shape.

Honestly, if you want to know if Level10 can help you, call them. We aren't Level10. We can't answer for them... and though everyone recommends them, I don't know of a single person on this site that has actually gotten something done by them!

h22sparkle always suggested me to send my tranny to them since i wanted to keep it auto. but then again look who it is. lmao.

i always thought that the h23 and h22 trannies were stronger due to the fact that they take that much HP and TQ on a daily basis. thats the only reason why i would recommend them.

one thing everyone always told me when i wanted to boost my auto was to get a tranny cooler to keep the tranny fluid temps down.

He may have. His car was probably one of the more heavily modified autos on this site, I know that. If anyone did, he's probably the most likely.

As for Sparkle... I've never known the man to even sneeze on an auto. He's no idiot, at least when it comes to choosing the right parts, and he's absolutely right that level10 is probably the best place to go. Still, he has no firsthand experience with them. Nor do I.
