ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Will a h23 head work on f22a1 block?

Has anyone done this mod? I have the h23 intake on now, just checking to see if the heads are direct swap with timing belt, etc.

I looked but could not find a DIY on it so im guessing it may not work.

Ok...ill make this short since im on my sidekick...

This isn't a "mod".. By no means.. This is a headswap..this is transfering from sohc 2 dohc.. And all that's invovled..now.. Do they crap out on you.. Sure.. If its poorly put together..

The first hybrid I put together.. I did it for a cb7tuner member..(teckert) who I later bought the car off of for myself...the car/engine had roughly 210k when the hybrid was performed.. Mind u the block was left intact and untouched.. If u go into my members rides.. U can see the mod list.. The previous owner. Kept the stock redline.. And when I got it.. Ha.. That went out the window..I started.. At 6500 then 6800..then..7000..then 7200 and finally 7500.. Was it making much power up there? Prob not.. The delta 272s did help thou.. Anyway.. Moral of story.. If built right.. They will last.. Mine got rodknock.. Due to an oil leak and oil starvation.. But even still it got beat on for 20k and died around 220k.. So.. No excuses if ur shit fucks up.. Do it right the first time.. No half ass hybrids...

Does it make power?? Yes.. Mine was around 150-160whp without the cams.. I did have portwork.. I have a dynosheet but its worthless. Was ona gude p14 and stock exhaust.. 135whp and 145wtq...
