ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    changing o2 sensor?

How hard is it to change the o2 sensor?

I kept thinking they were crazy expensive, but I see cb7 DENSO(which i guess is OEM) for less then 60 shipped.

Pretty sure the o2 on my car is the original, although i have no CEL's I'm still thinking replacing it might help gas mileage. IDEAS?

they sell the socket at ur nearest auto parts store. tell them you need the o2 socket and use it. it'll be a breeze tho.

ur o2 sensor is located behind your heatshield. you'll have to take it off and then it'll be in plain sight but it might be visible with it on. IDK because mines isnt on anymore. but its on your header.

            or where he said.

since you have an EX, i believe yours will be under your car on the downpipe. for me, i didnt even need the O2 socket. i just used a crescent wrench. hopefully yours hasn't seized onto the downpipe.

                Don't replace a working part.

Spend the $60 on personal satisfaction, whatever that means to you. Could be window tinting, a bag of weed, cheap rimjob, whatever.

                Peace.

Its the original o2 from 1990.

Just because its not throwing a CEL doesn't mean it isn't lazy.

My timing belt is just fine also until it breaks

yea the o2 sensor is located on the back end of ur downpipe where the 2 pipes become one. most likely on top of the pipe.

my o2 sensor siezed up on me and i just left it alone until i did my motor swap.

o2 sensors arent hard to change at all unless it siezed which u can unplug the o2 sensor, take the downpipe off and soak the o2 sensor in wd40 or pb blaster until u are able to unscrew it.
make sure u let the engine, and exhaust cool down
