Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    help plz!

    hey u guys remember me for the igntion problem guy maybe
    well like i said last time i replaced the ignition switch and yea
    but the rpms going crazy like jumping from 3 to 5 then everywhere maybe down to 8k jsut bounces up and down!

    i was gonna check if it had any codes in stored it doesnt have anything!!!!

    but when the switch didnt work it throught igntion something but now thats replaced and dont have no codes anymore

    ever since that went out idk just rpms started flying!

    hmm my car is auto
    when i turn it on to the ignition only t lights up p for parking and then d4 at the same time it dont blink or anything jsut lights then turns off

    idk if that means anything

    any help guys~!~~~~

    sounds like your tps sensor is taking a crap. it doesnt start anymore now?

    but 1st check for intake leak

      well its starts no problem!

      idle stay at one spot like 700 never goes down or anything!

      but had my car turn off 2 times already but start right up!

      but the rpm thing is really getting to me
      its just makes the car not run good at all!

        then it more starting to sound like the output tachometer signal coming from your ignitor in your distributor. you usually get a cel code but not always if its just faulty, and it could be screwing your ignition coil.

        check ebay or another cb7 member if they got one. also repace the coil and might as well due a tune up wies and plugs if old

          well i havent replaced my wires for a good time but have ngk's but imma make sure to replace them friday when i get payed!

          cause i replaced my igniter not to long ago and stuff!

          the ignition coil should be good and stuff!

            try the wires since you havent replaced them. how old are the plugs. if the wires dont work then replace the plugs. also check to make sure the rotor isn burned meaning tip

              well yea i replaced the rotor and cap and igniter the same day i say 3 months ago!

              and wire plugs from 06 i think!

                Check the distributor itself. I had a weirdo problem like that on the CB9 and it was the bearing inside the dist being all shitty, wobbling around, and causing interference. Used dizzy from the wreckers fixed it right up.
