i need some help with the vss and the theory behind it as well as as some theorys behind the o2 sensor
VSS: i see the the F and H vss are essentially made up of 2 parts, the gear/shaft and the electrical piece on top. i do also realize that any other vss besides the one meant for your tranny means the speedo will be off.
so my question is, what part of the vss determines speed? the gear and shaft part? what part of the vss usually goes out, as in stops reading the speed? is it possible to swap out the top electrical part from another vss not meant for your tranny onto your vss meant for the tranny and recieve the same results as a good vss? or will the speed be off?
o2 sensors: do accord o2 sensors run on the normal 0-1v output? if so, does the ecu read the volts and tht in turns means the a/f? if so, can any tuning program, if not could i make one, be told tht at a certain a/f, a light could come on?
basically i want to make a a/f warning light. if i spray and my motor runs below a set a/f, a light comes on telling me to shut down the nitrous. is it possible?
