ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Look up hondafan81 's red project. He added every bolt on and a camshaft. The compression is still 8.8:1 and has a tuned ecu. He is still using the stock transmission gearing. Any how its ok. ITs not very fast but with some higher compression and a h23 transmission it could be very effective.Originally posted by GingerKidRuss View Posti have just purchased a 92 honda accord ex.....need to know what i should do first to get some quick horse power ...
For now I saw just download the HELMS manual for the car. Dont spend cash on upgraded parts. The reason is this, the car has very low compression and is old.
Instead of spending about 1500 dollars on I/H/E buy another block ($150) read alot about buying the right sized bearings and rings on the engine. Spend cash for some one reputable to rebuild it. Once its rebuilt.
NITROUS- These motors can HOLD 150hp shots with problems but 125hp shots have been done and still run till this day.
Its better than racing one night blowing a head gasket. One month later you rear main seal leaks. 2 months later you transmission is grinding. 4 months later timing belt breaks. Just cause you have an intake header cat back ect. the car is still a 17 sec car.
A reliable motor that can hold 125hp shot ? ? ?? who wouldnt.
in short save your cash

Nobody's said turbo yet so I'll throw that out there.
If you want a fast CB7, you can't half-ass it with I/H/E and bolt-ons. You've got two routes: swap or turbo.
Either one will cost a couple grand and require a lot of work and learning on your part (or no work and learning but several thousand more dollars.)
Nitrous can be added to either swap or a turbo set up.
What's your budget?
My advice: fix the CB7 up and make it as reliable as possible. Don't mod the motor at all. When it's running great, save your money and buy a project car. Find something that runs 14s stock and work from there.
That's the route I took... I've got my fun car and also my beater that I can drive when my fun car is down for maintenance or upgrades.- Ghosty
WTB: MAP sensor (2+bar), IAT sensor, ECU & dizzy harness plugs... PM me!
FS: coupe window rain guards, f22a6 intake & ex mani, cams, PT6 ECU, valve cover, dizzy caps, OEM fogs... PM me!

He bought the car from his parents.Originally posted by tonymontana1204 View PostYou just bought the car and already looking for more power, how about looking into parts that might be going bad with the car, Tune up, timing belt, waterpump. Just my .02
To GingerKidRuss:
-F22A4 header (90/91 EX)
-H23A1 intake manifold and throttle body (from a Prelude SI 92-96)
-CAI (which you were already going to get)
-2.25+ exhaust
All that would help your car go quicker.
