ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    What are you Pumpin??

Basically... What kind of gas do you pump?

I always pump chevron because of it's techron and it just feels cleaner when i drive with it, but recently my uncle took my car out and filled it with SHELL, and after he filled her up, she just drove so smoothly.

my boy told me that supposedly shell is best for honda/toyota cars...? myth or fact...?

      87 at BP.
Only because it's the closest to my house.
Majority of the time it's the cheapest too.

I pump husky or mohawk cause you get 90 octane for the price of 87 and it is ethanol blended which seems to get better mileage in my car. I get about 40-50 more miles than I would if I pumped shell or petrocanada or just about anything else. Tried it many a time and I still find it hard to believe but its 110% the truth.

                  i use Shell.

i ran a few tanks of 76 through it, didnt get what i expected out of it.

i won a 25 dollar shell gas card from work and have never looked back since.
the performance is better as well as the mileage.

                  Shell all the way.

Ive read that ethanol actually gives worse mileage...

Simply because ethanol doesn't have as much energy as pure gasoline.

dude, i live near that supergas near Sears. you're getting ripped off at that station. i was there with my stepson and his CB sedan and my coupe. we started the pump and instead of being at $0.00 it jumped to $0.39 as soon as it turned on and for both pumps, his and mine. I go out to NJ alot and fill up out there $3.41 a gallon for 87

                        bob

Exxon is a rip too, the one by the zoo is always way above everyone else

between 90 and 94 at Husky or Mohawk, 92 occasionally if i hit a Husky, its all i use and it makes a difference, better mileage and a cleaner motor. i sea foamed the car when i bought it, and i just did it again after only using Mohawk and Husky gas.. barely any carbon buildup. no joke
