window switch busted?

today, my front driver window went up and never came down again....

it's not the motor/regulator since i don't hear anything grinding (unless it is completely dead just like that), but the actual button doesn't feel right...

hard to explain, it does make a click sound in the down position, but going up, it's completely flimsy... there's no click into place, like when you hit it to go up or even in that auto up click....

any suggestions? there's some links on removing the door panel, but not sure what to do from there, if i can even get to the switches that way...

aaaah shite....

now that i read some more threads on here, it looks like i need the whole damn master switch piece....


so part 2 of question....

the window i notice is not completely up now....so there is a little whisteling noise when i'm driving....

while i wait to get this part, how can i manually push the window all the way up with the switch being dead?
