ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

hydrogen? is anyone using it in the CB's?

so has anyone hooked up any hydrogen or plan on putting hydrogen into the engine? i'm i'm planning on doing it, see if i get more power n at the same time increase my 22mpg to around 40-48mpg (hopefully)

I was planning on doing it but ran out of funds. To make it work right you must a have a hydrogen fuel cell that creates tons of hydrogen.

WTF!!! u dont need that fuel cell!!!! all u need is a jar of water, fill it up, n put an electric current onto the water n have a hose from the top of the lip into the intake manifold. u just have to make something so the water wont hyrdo lock. u just have to change out the water

you don't know damn thing about Hydrogen. I suggest you learn more about it and dont blow your self. you know its vere explosive. It's all about how good of cell you have that can produce reasonable amount of brow gas to compensate for gas.

I had in my cb for some time and not really worth unless you got big cell, like Joe cell or similar.

gasoline is very explosive too. i've done research n i helped install one into afew trucks with relays n switchs. so when its off it doesnt go everywhere when the cars not on. fuel cells r over rated. just need to figure out how much volume of water n the amperage going into the water n how fast the hydrogen is . its safe as long as u know what ur doing

Shit if you are in Indianapolis, come down to Bloomington and help me install one. I've seen videos of people using them on CB7s, don't know if they really work though...

Do you know anything about KOH=POTASSIUM HYDROXIDE. get joe cell like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/JOE-CELL-HYDROGE...QQcmdZViewItem

                or make one your self that would start of 1/2in tude and finish 4in increasing by 0.5 inch, so 0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4

some one had made that one and it was producing 3.2lpm with 30 amp.

mine was only making 0.9lpm but it was ss plates design.

I just wrote it up at http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=112919

but here is what I wrote:

If you are that annoyed by that....DISABLE IT.

There is a brown box on the driver's side tail light, there is a wiring harness coming OUT of it. Find the WHITE wire with a GREEN stripe on it. Now becareful not to get a green wire with the white strip on it, b/c those are not the correct wires.

Anyway, solid WHITE WIRE with GREEN STRIPE, cut it, and extend it(aka use a butt "connector" to add more wire, I used 14gauge so it is longer), and GROUND IT. I just grounded it to one of the 4 bolts that hold in the taillights.

IT WILL BY-PASS THE "BRAKE LAMP" INDICATOR check so it never comes on again.

CREDIT FOR THIS FIX goes to : cp[mike] as he mentioned it in another thread and it works perfectly.

it isn't worth it, it takes more energy input to create the splitting of oxygen and hydrogen than the hydrogen can output.

A car battery doesnt create enough hydrogen constantly to keep a car running, at least to my knowledge, if someone pulled it off kudos to them. I've heard of people using wire mesh stacked layer upon layer to create more surface for splitting h2o into o2 and hydro but eh....
