ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    headlight/combo switch

So, I was told I needed a "Combo" switch, because of my left turn signals not working when I turn left, but..all 4 of my signals work when I have my hazards on.

Question is, on Advance Auto's site, they only have the "Headlight" switch. Or.."Headlight Dimmer" switch. Here's a photo.

Is that the whole Combo switch? Reason I'm asking, is because the guy that put my engine in has a junk accord at his lot that he takes parts from, and I'ma ask him if I can give him 10 bucks for this switch. But I need to know exactly what I need. My headlight's and stuff work fine. I just need the Combo, but if it's that whole box, then I'll just take the whole thing from the junk accord.

I would take the whole thing from a junk accord.

So that box is where the Combo's located? The other reasion I'm asking, is because I was checkin' out diagrams on Google, and it's saying the Combination switch is inside the steering column on 86-89 accords and preludes.

I can't speak from experience because that has never happened to me, I think I read a thread somewhere that its just the switch that goes bad and you need to take the whole steering column apart to get it out.

I know I'm not being much help right now but hopefully someone can come and provide more information.

Yea, looking inside the little crack inbetween the plastic, you can't see any screws for the switch, so I'm pretty sure I'll have to take the steering wheel off to get to it better, and take the plastic pieces off. I've got 2 hours to get it out, if he lets me. He closes around 4:30'ish. Either way, you were a help! I just noticed.......headlight switch, and figured it was just the arm.....and my headlights work fine. I'll take the whole thing.
