Looking at installing a 4 or 6 point harness. Any recommendations? While safety is the primary consideration, price and ease of installation are also things I'm taking into consideration.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I've been a firefighter/emt for six years, and I've seen enough wrecks involving older cars to truly believe that in several cases a better personal restraint system would have meant that I'd have sent some of my patients to the hospital and not the morgue. A 3 point system allows too much movement in a car without side airbags and everything else a modern car comes with to be truly effective. A head hitting a B pillar in a high speed crash can make for a closed casket funeral. 've *knock on wood* never been in a wreck (my dad got rear ended when I was 5, but I don't really count that... wasn't a wreck so much as a high-speed tap), but I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. If you think I'm being overly cautious you are entitled to your own opinion, but I don't see how it can hurt. At worst, I'm out some money. At best, it might save a life.Originally posted by Joshs92ex View PostWhy do you need one?
What are you doing that the factory seatbelt won't suffice?

Sure, better safe than sorry I suppose.Originally posted by Medikerik View PostI've been a firefighter/emt for six years, and I've seen enough wrecks involving older cars to truly believe that in several cases a better personal restraint system would have meant that I'd have sent some of my patients to the hospital and not the morgue. Just make sure it is properly installed.
If it's not properly installed, it'll end up being a lot worse than your factory belts.

supposed to run a bar between B pillars to make sure the seatbelts will stay level with your shoulders. if they are at an angle they will crush your spine if you end up flipping the car.Originally posted by tonymontana1204 View PostDon't you need some kind of support bar behind the seats to run those.

I see you did not read or look at the instructions by your answer.
To be fair I will post the link.

Thanks for the great reply. Looks like I found what I'm looking for. I'll do a little more digging, but if nothing else you gave me a great starting point (not that I think I'll find anything better, but it doesn't hurt to look).
