Are they supposed to light up? They seem to get a little light, but not a lot. Is there maybe a bulb burned out behind them?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

No blubs behind the knobs. There is one blub in the bottom center, between both knobs, that lights the whole little area up. If you remove both knobs, (pulll!) than pry out the part around them (the white plastic) you should be able to get to the bulb.Originally posted by JunyAccord View Postthere is a bulb behind the knob. Just take out the knob and pull from the inside out.

Considering the LED conversion, or maybe changing for brighter bulbs or just adding some bulbs behind the knobs. Not too sure on the LED though, I live in a semi-rural area, and I think it would be a little too bright at night.
The dimmer isn't turned down. Guess it's just dim bulbs.2000 Acura TL-P - Daily

Thanks, in that case I might look into it.Originally posted by EJX_Michael View PostReally, Its not that bright. The brightest is the climate control leds when they are pushed in. (none are in the pic)
And the dimmer works with LEDs
Flipped through the conversion thread kinda quickly (at work). Did you have any problems with dead spots anywhere from the leds?2000 Acura TL-P - Daily

Yeah. Behind the CC buttons. The middle is bright, but the others are dim. You can see in pic.
The easiest way to avoid spots is to sand the top of the LED flat. Its just on the CC buttons it needs an led behind each button I used two LEDs on the knobs basicly pointing like a V out of the socket.
The cluster is the hardest. I used some diffused LEDs (they arent clear for that. It took about two hours to aim them, and My 0 and 10 Mph are dimmer than the rest.
Good luck man, and I'm open to any questions.

Thanks, I think I might go with just some different bulms for now, just to keep a little on the cheaper side. I did all amber in my EK, except for the top lights that illuminate the front of the cluster which I kept white and it looked pretty good.
Is it possible to wire in something like a #74 bulb in behind the A/C knobs for more light? Instead of going LED.2000 Acura TL-P - Daily
