ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    h22a idle problems

I've got a 92 accord with an h22a swap and having trouble with idle problems.
When coming to a stop, I push the clutch in and shift to nuetral. The idle hangs at about 2200 rpms until I have come to a complete stop for approximatley 2 seconds. Having trouble figuring out the problem. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Could be a number of thing including your idle valve or egr valve, also, what ecu are you running for the h22?

Check your TPS check engine light. Being a cel, that's usually where you'll want to start diagnosing.

Also, the "spoon chipped" ecu, unfortunately, is basically not a legitimate ecu. Replace that with a stock p13 or a chipped and properly tuned p28.

Those would be the first two thing's I'd look into before replacing too many more components. It might turn out that the ecu and tps are fine, but both are a little fishy and probably deserve recognition.

Good luck with it, idle problems are always annoying.

Hey was wondering if you got this fixed? I am currently beening having this problem and have been unable to come across a fix. As I drive, shift to N, the revs remain at about 1500-2000 until I come to a complete stop only then after 2seconds does the idle return to normal...

I have tryed checking vacuum lines, seem ok. Check fiv, checked egr, check tps, check iacv, all ok, running usdm p13 on jdm h22a swap(was having the same problem with the p13 jdm computer so I know for a fact is not the computer)

and I am not throwing no cel.....
