ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Gettin screwed by Eibach?

Hey Cbs, Some might remember the camber kit I ordered and installed. Well, I just wondered if I acctually got Eibach parts? The box was Eibach, the BJs are SPC. Arn't they 2 different companies or are they affiliated with one another? I just hope I didn't get ripped off. I bought Eibach because I thought I was gettin good quality stuff. They didn't even throw any STICKERS in with the kit. I love stickers. Ima call em up I think.

You can say ebay... but if you want to be a dipshit and misspell it... no.

Anyway, SPC makes VERY high quality parts... probably better than Eibach could make on their own. What you got is most likely SPC parts made to Eibach's specs.

Eibach is the parent company and SPC is just a spin off, I think Beltec (for trucks) is one of theirs too.

Really? Eibach owns SPC? I didn't know that (time to research!)

Edit - From the SPC website:

                    ABOUT SPECIALTY PRODUCTS
Specialty Products was founded in 1972. When Frank Bigelow purchased the company in 1975, the product line consisted of 16 hand tools. The tools were manufactured and shipped from 300 sq. feet of warehouse space. The company was incorporated in 1975 as Niwot Corporation/DBA/Specialty Products Company. Unable to incorporate as Specialty Products Company because there was another Colorado company with a similar name, Mr. Bigelow chose Niwot Corporation and the Indian Head Logo to honor Chief Niwot, an Arapahoe Indian Chief who had befriended the early settlers that farmed in the Boulder Valley.

Specialty quickly outgrew its space in Denver and moved to Longmont, in Boulder County. Today, Specialty Products is an ISO / TS 16949 certified company that supplies more than 1,200 parts to customers worldwide. Specialty Products has three different business units that are supported by three domestic facilities providing in-house; development, manufacturing, sale and distribution.

Specialty Products has always been a family business and is currently managed by Ben Bigelow, the second generation family member. The company takes special pride in the long term employees who have grown with the company. Our goal has always been to provide quality service and innovative high quality products to our customers. We never forget that our employees are the company and that our customers are the reason we exist. We thank all of you for helping make Specialty Products the wonderful company it is today.

I assume the SPC affiliation with Eibach is much like the Koni/Neuspeed deal. Separate companies, but they work together because their products complement each other.
