ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Not a bad price on the coils, but trying to talk them down to $400 . . . c'mon now. It's not as if they've been used and abused. He's only had them for 600 miles. Could at least offer something respectable.
+1 Not too happy bout the post regulations but I understand them.Originally posted by CATCH24 View Postdude how many posts do i need to be able to post bout selling/buying on here

man never believe what sellers tell you. i never pay asking price, doesn't hurt to offer 400. worst they can say is no, then you pull out the other 100 you brought with youOriginally posted by scanlessfool View PostNot a bad price on the coils, but trying to talk them down to $400 . . . c'mon now. Spend your money on some quality parts. Remember these are components that keep your rubber on the ground.
The only shock/strut maker that I personally would trust would be koni yellow shocks. They are perfect for any car that is lowered a bit, or heck even stock hight cars for that matter.
Speaking of springs, the companies I'd choose there would be Eibach, Hyperco, H&R and Neuspeed. Hyperco is geared more twords someone who needs a certain spec of spring for a custom application (such as those with ground control sleeves that wish to use something that is better suited to their driving style).
Having said all that I think the best bang for your buck will likely be the following:

though I must recommend that if you want to get these higher performance parts for you suspension that you make darn sure your alignment is correct (you may need a camber kit here). You're also going to NEED to be SURE that the rest of your suspension is in good condition. I can't say if it is or not. The quickest way for that is to get a thorough inspection done on the car at a well known and respected car repair shop (state certified to do inspections).Last edited by pwrusr; 11-30-2008, 02:28 AM.

Oh yeah, one more thing... Above all else do your homework and research the heck out of it untill you've found something that many people sware by. That's how I've done things and it's never really steered me wrong or to far off the beaten path.
I listed some companies above that should get you started down the right path. Speaking of which I forgot to add that tokico is another fairly decent maker of shocks. don't get the blues unless you are just replacing OE shocks. Tokico also makes a adjustable shock that works well, not quite as nice as the koni yellows but still fairly decent.

i had the 90-93 application ksports for my cb, they worked ok but i was never able to dial them in...the dampening and valving on them is pretty flawed. they don't match each other and the dampening adjustment on some of them has even been known to do the opposite of what it is supposed to (turn the damper tighter and the shock gets softer etc.) go with some tein's, neuspeed cup kit, custom ground control springs with koni yellows etc.
