ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

to tell you the truth thats all i know
depending on the year on the motor you might need to do a obo convert
motor mounts, i recromend has-sport(my cuz had them in his crx with ls/vtec)
you might need a slim radator/fan , some times you half to knock in the firewall to fit the motor
its gonna be a tight fit so have fun

                        mounts
axles 90 to 93 teg gsr axles will work
                        motor
                        tranny
you don't have to relocated the battery
wiring you use the one you have and add a knock sensor and vtec if you don't have vtec and lenghen some other sensors to reach
as for the wieght the h22 drivetrain is only 80 lbs more than a b16 swap so your springs will be fine and you will notice the little extra pounds but it is not like everyone always says about it.
                        you will need a slimfan
accord or plelude shift linkage to install this you have to cut a hole where you shifter goes and bolt the accord shifter in place and drill a hole for the cables to get to the tranny.
when you install the motor you will have to cut the passengerside mount braket and redill a hole for the mount to bolt onto
and no ac with this swap unless you get the 300 dollar bracket from hasport

I went from an auto D15 to an H22 and there was very little weight difference.
the Civic auto tranny weighs more than the H22 tranny....

plus you can remove A/C and P/S, get a lightweight flywheel, relocate the battery, remove balancer shafts, get a header.....that is 90lbs+ right there(!!!)

So I am not sure where people are getting this information from...
There is actually a thread on Honda-Tech proving that the weight difference is minimal

There is actually no need for a slim fan, a junkyard Civic condenser fan fits perfectly,
And there are definitely no clearance issues, the engine looks like it belongs there when installed and it is still very easy to work on...

H22 conversion mounts are $140 bucks brand new, (I got mine used for $30)
There is no need for Hasport mounts unless you just like the way they look
You don't need to buy a wiring harness

FNEG is the only one who gave accurate info here, it is a very easy swap

you don't need to bang the firewall in either case.... especially in a 92-95 Civic with an H22, there is still enough room for a supercharger... hell, there is enought room for a V6 in a Civic...
