ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

same as h22 swap. you can use your trans, you'll just have long ass gear ratios, so the f20b won't be use to it's full potential. as for the mounts, use your mounts if you're using your trans.

f20b is obd2. its the same as an obd2 h22 swap. the h22 swap is covered in detail in the swaps forum. you dont even have to use the search button. just go in the swaps forum and read the sticky thread. i assure you it will answer most of your questions. the question regarding mounts and transmission is VERY basic, and covered repeatedly on this forum.

                  Remove obd2 harness from f20b

Sell/swap/hack obd2 distributor to work with ur stock f22a wiring

Use ur f22a injectors(chipped ecu recommended)

Make sure u get the manual sir-t version not the pussy ass auto version that only has 180hp...which is why it sucks to get one without manual trans..because of the likelyhood of it being an auto..

                  options

1.swap it in..do bolt ons and be happy

2.if your gonna do valvetrain might as well pull the f20b head off from the get go and sell it and get a h22a head..their valvetrains arnt interchangeable..there been a lot of ppl with f20bs with h22a upgraded valvetrain who have dropped valves..words of advice..

                  Praise The Lowered...

being different is really the only reason to get one. the powerband is higher and peakier than the h22. the obd2 thing adds a step that could be avoided with an obd1 h22.

its not a bad choice but it is slightly inferior to the h22. the higher redline is pretty fun though.

just remember that being different is a novelty that only lasts a short time. i was different when i got my h22. now even though its still different to most people its old news to me. i still love it because it does what i want it to do. make that your top priority. make your car something you enjoy driving.
