ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    2 problems wit my cb7

My damn cb7 keeps giving me problems but i guess it'll be worth it when the problems are fixed right guys??....
On to the problem,ok first off whenever im driving and im hittin passed 60 mph my car starts to shake, well my steering wheel?? what can it be my bro told me it might be that one of my tires could be flatter then the others hmmmm??
Second problem has recently occured, whenever i change from 1st to 2nd it begins to choke like if it doesnt grab 2nd or something... could it be that my clutch is going??

For the shaky steering wheel it could be that your tires aren't balanced properly, that is usually the cause of a shaking wheel at higher speeds, as for the choking while changing gears that could be a few problems, but if your clutch is slipping you can tell by changing gears from 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th and right after you change gears hit the gas and watch your rpm gauge. If the rpm needle moves up when you hit the gas and your not really going anywhere speed wise, then your clutch is slipping. But the choking could also be due to your egr valve, could also be your ignition (spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor)

shaking might be coming from a bent rim or bad ball joints.

For the first one tire balance or a bent rim and the second one it could b a fuel problem, the only thing is that it'll happen all the time not just from 1st 2 2nd.

my car did the same wen i use to go 60mph... Just get tires balanced
If dat does not fix the problem then you need an alignment

Thats what i am bout to do next

For your first issue, I would suggest either a tire balance (like everyone else) and/or an alignment. For the second, I would also check the RPMs, make sure your spark plugs & wires are good, check the EGR valve, and invest in some SeaFoam for cleaning your whole fuel system!! (pour it in your next full tank of gas... it's like $7). Good Luck and keep us posted.
