ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Don't think so, but you're supposed to replace parts 4 and 5 as well. A flare wrench might help with removing part 14 from the clutch line.

Thanks, I think #5 is the banjo washers that comes in the TASAUTO kit.. and #4 is the banjo nut? I think, I may have to reuse.

#5 is a crush washer. You can probably live without replacing, but it's cheap, so I would just do it anyway. I don't know what a banjo nut is, but I would think there would be a crush washer on each side of the line.

You might. Try without first. If you can't get it loose without rounding the corners, you'll need a flare wrench. I know I needed a flare wrench when I removed my power steering line. They have the same type of connector.

I bought this line from them last spring and the line do comes with the parts 4 and 5. And if you buy it, make sure that the end fittings on the hose are tights cause mine were a bit loose when I received it.

number 13 in the diagram above is the hard line that stretches from the CMC to the dampner on the passenger side.

you should be able to order that one still from Majestic but not number 14. that's discontinued.

another option is to use a whole braided clutch line that replaces the whole thing from the cmc to the slave. chasebays has them for 70 or 80 i think.

Here's my issue. There is a hard line that goes from Master cylinder(Next to the reservoir and near the brake reservoir on the drivers side) through the fire wall and up near the air intake(Below it) and that line burst.

Now when we patched it(Rubber tubing with clamps) it didnt leak at all. But I couldn't get any pressure through the line.

When I took off the bleeding screw on the slave cylinder there was barely if any brake fluid coming through when we were pumping the clutch.
