ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

yes my buddy has a b18c with a snapped bolt in the drivers side.
it had one it it like yours, and it snapped and tore a chunk of the metal out...he now needs a new block if he wanted all bolted correctly.

fix it asap, and look at esp.net mounts.

I would never leave a project midway for someone else to finish. You couldn't have expected anything good from your homie unless he is a certified Honda mechanic

those two bolt holes need to be drilled out and tapped. most people dont have a 10x1.25mm tap on hand...

but still... that issue needed to be addressed while the transmission was OUT, now its a bunch of times more annoying to deal with...

and get a nut on that driver side, and i wonder how many of the bolts were left out of the back of the block/transmission/rear mount - theres a whole bunch back there, and a few are really annoying to get to. if he left THESE out, what did he leave out back there?

and the front mount tears all the time, just get a new polyurethane filled one. thats probably the only one you had, i would have bolted that one in too, temporarily.

this is why other people dont help me work on my car.... takes longer, but i know its right.

if you drove it...easily...like my grandmother...prolly nothing

if you drove it like me? you would destroy the mounts...and ruin all chances of ever bolting another mount there...you would have to fix it by welding

if you raced it? you would ruin the car...engine...and tranny.

You have one option...take all that shit back out and do it yourself, you don't know what else was done wrong.

my h sits the same way. you need a mount of a f22 i believe. but i been driving mine for ever and hard and it still good. i would recomend you to fix it but i think youll be ok, its not like its a reason not to drive your car.
