ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    confusion with my cb7

got a quick and weird question my 92cb7 has a slight pull to the right but no uneven tire wear, so i put new steelies with tires on the front and now its pulling to the left (the opposite direction). this happened a while back when i rotated them as well, just figured it might be one of the back tires that was bad but i guess not.... any ideas.....

If you're suspension alignment is way off, then that's obviously the problem. No quick fixes, just get the thing aligned.

could be the alignment, loose suspension and steering compenants in the front end. toe issues, caster etc. I've seen tires cause pulls also (radial pull) and air pressure in the tire. get an alignment. we can't help you if you havn't had it aligned. the pull isn't like a common issue or recall or tsb. It's a routine maintanance issue.

tires out of balance, pressure, toe, camber, caster, excessive play or looseness in the steering linkage or wheel bearings. Loose tie rod ends, idler arms, a worn steering rack, even loose rack mounts can all have an influence on directional stability. So be sure to perform a thorough inspection of the steering and suspension.

Another condition that may even cause a vehicle to steer crooked is a power steering problem. Internal leaks in the power steering control valve can route pressure to where it is not needed. The pressure imbalance may make the car drift to one side or, if bad enough, the car may try to steer itself with no assistance from the driver! You can check for this kind of problem by raising the wheels off the ground and starting the engine. If the steering wheel starts to turn all by itself, power steering work is what is needed here.

            hope this helps

              thanks

thanks all motor ill check and see if that may be it. but like i said the pull was to the opposite side a couple days ago, i pulled the steelies of my project car and put them on my daily driver (to work car) and the pull changed... i already know that there is a alignment issue and ive tried to get it fixed but the car was wrecked before and now it cant be aligned right.

try getting your wheels weighted, if not it may be a toe, or caster problem. Most likely toe.
