ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

Personally I would purchase these. They are solid mounts and once you exchange your old ones for these, you NEVER will have to worry about ever cahnging them out again. I have a set on mine and I love them. Granted, they are a little pricey but it is well worth the cost.

By the looks of your plate, you look like your from Washington, Too bad your not a little closer to central canada. The ebay ones seem to be really cheap, by really cheap, i mean WTF cheap. At my staff discount, all 4 motor mounts for my car rounds me up around 400-500 bucks, depending if i want the fluid filled rear one, or the solid mount. Their not cheap, and the cheaper you see them, most likley the cheaper they are.

Look for some sites that specialize in accord parts, such as TAS auto, im sure he has some.

front one goes bad first. then is the rear one then the side ones.... lol

before you buy the mounts you should check and see if there is any rips on the mount that you have in the car....

its a little hard to find out if the back one is bad.

as price wise. e bay has very cheap motor mount. i my self have no experience my self.

i am about to buy the rear one from e bay for $50....

also 5 speed mounts are automatic mounts are not the same.
are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet

I replaced my front torque mounts with aftermarket ones and they're torn in less than a year. I'm saving up for ESP mounts.

                  Yello..

My front factory motor mount is gone and I am looking to replace all 3 as well....

I've read this post and I'm sorry.....$275.00 for 3 mounts is absolutely absurd to pay...not when I see just one Polyurethane front mount for $14.99 from a suspension specialty website...such as :

                  http://www.energysuspensionparts.com...prod=16%2E1107

How does 3 mounts about $20 at most, each..making $60..get to be $275.00.....????

Unless there is some better material then Polyurethane justifying that kinda dough...then so be it...pay the $275.00.

I have only found the front bushing though...where are you guys finding the other 2 Polyurethane bushings?..just replacing with new, factory ones?

you're thinking of mount inserts. as far as i know, they only make inserts for the front mount

I have the energy suspension front motor mount insert and it helped A LOT with my shift shock problems. The shock is still present but it has been greatly reduced. I probably need a rear motor mount. The site says it only fits manuals for the front but I got it to fit in my auto with a little greasing and with the help of my mount being completely torn to shreds

When replacing mounts, its extremely important to change all 4 at once. Think of it as what i did in my 90..i replaced the front wishbone mount with this poly mount, thinking it'd fix my bad idle at stops (truely i knew it was more then 1 mount). Essentially what im trying to say is, if you put one in, it'll wear it out faster, since the all 3 mounts are garbage or loose, or cracked etc etc. Replace all 4, don't go cheap it'll be a hassel later, and these AREE holding your engine in place so that'd be all the reason in the world to not go ebay.

im not being cheap i was just going to replace the front one, to get an idea on how it all works, and having 3 old and 1 new is better than having 4 old and 0 new in my eyes

                              Sooooo... I'm just checking...

                              Auto's have 4 mounts and 5 speeds have 3?.....or both have 4?

I have only been able to find the front mount in polyurathane... does anyone make the other mounts in polyurathane, and if so where can ya buy them?

If they aren't made from polyurathane are people just replacing them with new OEM ones?

                              Thanks,
